Job description
We are working with a large organisation in Queensland to appoint a Manager – Infrastructure Works, a senior leadership role responsible for leading delivery and driving meaningful operational improvement across a civil infrastructure function.
This is a hands-on leadership role within a complex operational environment that is currently going through a period of structural and process change. The focus is on strengthening delivery performance, lifting capability across teams, and embedding better systems and accountability.
The role will suit someone who has operated at a senior level in civil infrastructure and is comfortable stepping into an environment where there is both active delivery and ongoing change.
You will take ownership of a broad works function, including roading and drainage, with responsibility for improving how work is planned, delivered, and governed. Strong support exists for change, but the expectation is that the successful person will lead it from the front.
A 3-year contract is preferred, however a 12-month project-based appointment may be considered for the right person with strong experience delivering operational uplift and infrastructure programmes.
