Depot Manager

The Company

Our client is one of the largest suppliers of their product in New Zealand, with a turnover of around $90milllion. They are New Zealand owned and operated, and have been in the market for over 70 years. They are a down to earth local supplier, and build their business on relationships and maintaining a consistent and reliable service to their customers.

The Role

Reporting directly into the Group General Manager this role will manage 30 direct reports. You will be ensuring that the operations of this highly successful Depot runs smoothly.

You will:

• Ensure standardized operational procedures
• Compliance with Health and Safety regulations
• Provide Manufacturing/management expertise to assist with improvements and projects
• Assist direct reports to ensure day to day tasks are done efficiently and effectively

About You

You will have full responsibility for P&L, health and safety, HR and environmental responsibility of this depot. You will have experience in either a manufacturing or construction industry working in a similar position. You will be a natural leader and have an ability to bring about change.
