Christmas 2016

Message from Director

They say the older you get, the faster the years go by. This year has gone like a rocket and as I’ve been in business nearly 20 years, I guess the saying must be true. I would like to acknowledge my team to you all – they are the best group of people, we have a great mix of personalities over the four regions and everyone works so hard and gets on with it – it really is a fantastic culture. I hope you have all had good experiences dealing with Kinetic over the year and we thank you sincerely for the business given. With Tauranga now in its second year and Christchurch soon to finish its first, this has been a great expansion to the Kinetic Group. We now have clients utilising the consistent and high standard on offer over the four regions. It really has worked brilliantly and we as a business, thoroughly enjoy the National support and account management service we can offer. Next year we already have plenty planned, more growth and new business concepts will be added to benefit and add value to the businesses we deal with. Working alongside our Para Consultants, we have hired a Candidate Consultant who will solely take care of our candidates, as our candidates are very important to us. I personally want to thank you all for another year of business and wish you a safe and Merry Christmas.

“Wow has life has changed in 2016! We’ve moved the family to sunny Tauranga and are very excited to be part of this booming local community. Business confidence and growth are at an all time high and attracting quality talent is top priority for many companies. My favourite experience of this year has been meeting such amazing, genuine people, both clients and candidates. I’m passionate about connecting good businesses with great people – to me it is the heart of business success. I look forward to more of it in 2017, but before then let’s relax and enjoy summer. I’m told it’s the best in the Bay!”

– Cherie Hill / Senior Consultant / Tauranga

“2016 has been an inspiring year for me. Christchurch and the South Island has evolved and shown great strength through constant challenges and change. We have relished being part of each and every one of your businesses. Learning and watching you embrace new office space as our city rebuilds, seeing phenomenal business growth and talking about your teams ability to accept great change within your team cultures has been wonderful. It is just great to be in Recruitment and be part of it all. I want to thank you all for allowing us to help you and your team with your recruitment needs over 2016, and want to wish you, and your families a very Merry Christmas and relaxing holiday season. “For me 2016 has been great! It’s been my first year in recruitment and I have loved getting to meet so many interesting and lovely people! The best part of my job is getting the match right between client and candidate, seeing my candidates loving what they do is really the best reward! Happy Holidays and I look forward to working with you soon.”

– Alyse Porter / Consultant / Wellington

“2016 has been an amazing year for me having moved into a Consultant role. After two years of working behind the scenes for clients, it’s great to be coming face to face and leading the recruitment process myself. Also another year of meeting fantastic candidates, it’s been very rewarding to see so many of you placed into the roles you were seeking. Here’s to another great year, wishing you all an enjoyable Christmas break with family and friends.”

“Another year has come and gone, and what an exciting year it has been! I have really enjoyed developing genuine relationships and working alongside a broad range of clients to assist them with their resourcing needs and delivering successful outcomes. I thoroughly enjoyed understanding and learning about the insights of your businesses and sharing market knowledge so we can all make well-informed decisions. I want to thank you for your continued business, support and friendships throughout the year and I look forward to working together in the new year. Wishing you all and your families a happy and safe Xmas and New Year. Bring on 2017!!”

– Ngan Nguyen / Consultant / Wellington

“Continuing my recruitment journey by joining Kinetic this year has been a wonderful experience, not only do I recruit in the Generalist area, but it has been a real pleasure to have two additional specialties in Health & Education. Thank you all for your support. The temporary market is huge and continues to grow, and I’ve noticed a trend for newly created roles in the permanent area, a good economic sign. I foresee 2017 to continue to become an even tighter recruitment market, with top candidates being desirable to many. I will continue to be as efficient as possible and a speedy interview process is always appreciated. Merry Christmas to you and your family.”

– Sue Brash / Senior Consultant / Auckland

“Well here we are. Another year older and another year, some might say, wiser. Although 9 years ‘young’ in the business I still jump out of bed each morning and have a spring to my step which for me, indicates I am still in the zone – the Kinetic zone, and one I still hold a great deal of passion for. Supporting candidates and clients alike, I would like to take this opportunity to say a very BIG thank you for ultimately giving me the platform to do what I do best; make the best matches for the best possible outcomes. Have a very Merry Christmas and well deserved break until we all touch base again in 2017! HO HO HO!!!!

– Tara Fisher / Senior Consultant / Auckland

“I have turned around the lives of many candidates in 2016 by coaching and guiding them into wonderful new job opportunities in New Zealand and other parts of the world. It’s been exciting for me to “ride the wave of possibility” with them, as they “see their own gold” and confidently present their skills and talent to new employers. I also feel very privileged to have worked with so many students and professional sports players this year, helping them to find a career pathway that they are excited and passionate about, and am very proud to be part of our newly branded, Swivel Careers Programme.”

– Linda Henderson / Career Development Manager
