Happy New Financial Year!

All accounts teams I am sure will be breathing a sigh of relief as we have ticked over in to the new financial year.

Our Christchurch office is now well and truly operating. The candidate market in Canterbury is excellent and there are a lot of highly experienced candidates seeking permanent and/or temporary positions. We understand this is due to recent restructures in some big organisations and still many people moving into the wonderful city as it changes and grows.

Business wise there is great confidence in all 4 of our centres with temp needs at the moment exploding in each region.

Whilst many clients are streamlining their recruitment on a national level, it is important we gain a local perspective on your business and culture. We have found entering the Christchurch market to be well received by our existing clients, saying they enjoy having the structure and resources of a boutique style recruitment company with national resources not only understanding their needs in the Christchurch market but their needs in all other regions also.

We continue to grow…..

In our last newsletter we welcomed on board James – National Strategic Channel Manager, Katy – Consultant (Auckland) and Susan – Senior Consultant (Christchurch). They are all settled in and we are loving having them in the office.

This time around we are welcoming to the team 2 new consultants!

Alyse Porter is our newest addition to the Wellington office who will be a consultant who brings with her an extensive background in the banking industry.

Here in the Auckland office we have also welcomed a new Senior Recruitment Consultant – Sue Brash – Education and Healthcare Specialist.

Developments

Sue has joined the Kinetic team as a Senior Consultant who will specialise within the Healthcare and Education sectors. With twenty years recruitment experience including these two fields, Sue has a wealth of skills and knowledge gained from her consulting, human resource management and employment within the Tertiary sector.

Sue also has experience working abroad, recruiting for a worldwide consulting firm and winning numerous accolades. In addition to all of this, human resources, business ownership, graduate/student coaching and support complements her skill base.

Sue heads up these two specialist divisions and will recruit skilled professionals within Healthcare, roles such as Management, Clinical Leadership, Coordinators and Administrators. Within Education Sue will recruit a full compliment of academic staff and non academic support staff.

Temp, Contract, Part Time and Permanent.

Being an exceptionally detailed person Sue’s commitment and dedication to everything she undertakes is second to none.

Temp of the month

At Kinetic we have fantastic temps who all do a great job for us, are reliable and can be called upon.

This month we would like to recognise Jo Stephenson who has completed numerous assignments for us. Thank you very much for your continued hard work Jo! The team at Kinetic really appreciate your willingness, enthusiasm and continued positive attitude!

Recent Activities…..

On March the 6th the Kinetic Auckland team alongside almost 30,000 registered runners/walkers par took in the annual Round the Bays fun run/walk. The course was 8.4km long starting right in the city on Quay Street and finished on the water front at St Heliers Bay. The team then made their way to Maddill’s Farm where they enjoyed a BBQ and a few drinks with their families. It was great to see a competitive edge in some of the team as they battled it out for the top spot!
