Winter 2015
As we move further along into 2015, we continue to thrive with an ongoing commitment to lead our industry. June and July have both been busy months bustling with opportunities supplemented with numerous great permanent placements as well as plenty of fantastic temp candidates on our books. The winter chill certainly did not get the job hunters down as the level of candidate quality has been exceptional and both candidates and clients are experiencing concrete results from 2015 with many more prosperous opportunities to come.
New Zealand’s Employment Economy Is Booming
Reflecting on this busy season, Kinetic has found some really interesting and positive statistics to prove that the New Zealand employment economy is positively growing as job numbers were up a better than anticipated 1.2 per cent within the last quarter (The Dominion Post , 2015). Labour force participation rates are at an all time high and rose 0.2 percent taking it to 69.6 percent, with the 20-34 year age groups contributing to nearly half of this annual growth (Statistics New Zealand , 2015) .
The Kinetic Group has also experienced success with Frank Executive and the work they have done within the search and executive recruitment market. Alongside partners The Knowledge Hunters and Moxy IT Recruitment, they have had the ability to search, source and select the very best talent on either a domestic or international scale.
In both the Wellington and Tauranga markets recruitment of positions within the private sector has significantly increased. The market continues to move fast and good candidates are now in high demand, no longer a dime a dozen – they are being snapped up quick smart.
2015 is shaping up to be a successful year as we continue to assist new and existing clients and candidates, which is our primary goal. We are optimistic moving into spring with many more exciting developments ahead.

The design, colour scheme and layout is an excellent representation of who we are and the talent that we bring to the table. The Kinetic Team Has Expanded
Kinetic has welcomed to the Auckland office three new consultants who started their recruitment journey in July. Jessica Opai, Sarah Wilson and Katie Smith.
These lovely ladies have extensive sales and account management backgrounds and are determined to help Kinetic prosper by offering a fresh and fun perspective backed with strong recruitment knowledge. Kinetic Team Celebrations
Last Thursday the Kinetic team celebrated in style with some serious knock out celebrations to wrap up a positive and successful last few months. Starting the day with a delicious lunch in Britomart central, the team were able to reflect on all the hard work and achievements accomplished for all our candidates and clients. Gifts were presented to the stand out team members for all they have contributed and then shortly after we headed off to a surprise event.
Once arriving at Escapade NZ the troops were divided into four equal groups and challenged todecipher a series of tricky clues and puzzles whilst being locked in a room. Using not just their beauty but their brains too, the Kinetic team members had to escape the room within a 60minute time period. Escapade was exciting, fun, challenging and something totally different.We have worked extremely hard in helping quality candidates succeed in their career goals and we will continue to deliver the highest level of service each and every day.
