April 2017 sees not only the beginning of a new financial year, but also the celebration of Kinetic’s 20 year anniversary! It was 1997 when Kate Ross opened up the very first Kinetic office in windy Wellington. Twenty years down the track and we now have offices in Auckland CBD, Tauranga CBD, Wellington CBD and Christchurch CBD – recruiting nationally.
To celebrate this momentous occasion we were all taken out on Friday 7th April. Starting off with breakfast in Britomart we then jumped on a bus and made our way to Extreme Indoor Karts in Highbrook – needless to say we are very competitive and a few were left with sore bodies after hard collisions! After go-karting it was back on the bus for lunch in Pukekohe (where a few shots were enjoyed!), and then onwards to our destination for the night at Castaways Resort in Waiuku! It was a fabulous day/night and was awesome to have the whole team together for a Kinetic party!
This month we also have our new Salary Survey coming out. The most common trend found currently in all regions being that it is a candidate rich market so the need to move faster to secure the preferred candidate is essential as they will likely have options.
Temp of the Month
A big shout out goes to Emma Jenkins from Wellington! You are our temp of the month! Emma has completed numerous temp assignments for us and been asked by all of the clients she has temped for if she can return as they all loved her so much!
So, thank you for your hard work and for being awesome, Emma! All the best overseas! From the team at Kinetic.
New Additions
Hello.... she may not have attended the Adele concert like a few of the Kinetic team did, but Keri we would like to welcome you to the Kinetic family! Keri McAdam has joined us as our Recruitment Services Manager and is located at our Tauranga office, keeping Senior Consultant Cherie Hill company!
Travelling to and from Wellington often she is the Manager of the lovely consultants down there!
Keri also has a young family and an extensive background in recruitment, bringing a wealth of knowledge with her.
