With the winter months now behind us and Christmas fast approaching, Kinetic has embraced the warmer weather and welcomed another two new members to the Auckland office. Katie Hawken (left) and Amber Wilson (right).
Katie has joined the team as our new Frontline Administrator. She has a background in hospitality and has adapted to the administration role with ease! Bubbly, full of energy and hard working, Katie brings a great deal of enthusiasm to the office!
Amber joins the team as our newest Consultant. With an extensive background in Sales and Account Management she is ready to make the role her own. We are excited to watch Amber grow and develop into a top recruiter.
Swivel Careers
We have recently rebranded and relaunched our personalised career programme – what was previously known as Whr24u is now Swivel Careers. Along with the rebrand, we have welcomed aboard two new Career Coaches – Rachel Turner and Kate Whalan. They will be joining our fantastic Careers Development Manager – Linda Henderson.
Rachel joins us with 14 years experience. She has worked as a Psychologist within health and education settings and has also worked as a consultant within the private sector. With exposure to a wide range of work environments and industries she believes that one size does not fit all and looks forward to working as a Career Coach to help young people on their journey of self-discovery.
Kate has a Master’s in Organisational Psychology and also has a background in Human Resources Management and Recruitment. She understands the workforce that students will be entering after school/university. Kate has a passion for working with people and is excited to be able to help them to find their ideal career path.
Rachel and Kate are both looking forward to working with our students to empower them and help them reach their potentials. We are thrilled to have them join our Swivel Careers team.

We have recently uploaded our latest blog to both our website and Facebook page.
Talking about stress, the causes and effects of it, and, most importantly how to deal with it. Many of us here relate to this blog and we are sure a few of you out there will also relate – especially at this time of the year!

Is Job Hopping Necessary?
Printed in the New Zealand Herald last Friday was a very interesting read titled “Finding your happy place of work”.
In essence the article states that employers recognise the importance of offering personal development in order to make the employee remain with them. Whether it is moving sideways, into another team or just broadening your skill set to further your career – you do not have to leave the company, you merely have to communicate with management.

The City That Never Sleeps
Last month a group of Kinetic employees alongside Director – Kate Ross were fortunate enough to spend a week in New York City!
Senior Consultants Bridgette Johnstone, Louise Murray and Tara Fisher were awarded the “incentive trip” due to their fantastic results. Peta Dumergue – Operations Manager and Imogen Neil – Office Administrator were both gifted the trip as a result of their hard work over the past financial year.
While in New York the week was full of sightseeing, shopping, eating and enjoying a few refreshing beverages after long days exploring! Highlights of the trip included a helicopter ride over the city, dinner at the iconic Tao restaurant and breathtaking views of the city from The Empire State building.
