About the role:

My client is on the hunt for a qualified counsellor with schooling experience to come in and work on their immaculate school grounds. This role will have you offering counselling services to students throughout the college, creating a supportive environment that promotes a safe and inclusive culture.

You will be working term to term, Monday to Friday. Weekends and School Holidays off!

Who we're looking for

The ideal candidate for this role with be empathetic, and well accustomed to the hardships that young adults in high school go through. Proven experience in dealing with sensitive issues is a must, as well as a passion for creating a safe and caring environment.

You will also have:

• Previously worked in a schooling or similar environment
• Minimum level 6 qualification in counselling
• Full membership within the NZ Association of counsellors or equivalent registration
• Enjoys working with young adults
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to maintain confidentiality
