You will work within a wide range of different settings, where no two days are the same! This is a tight-knit team who pride themselves of the service they deliver. They are a sociable bunch who get their work done but enjoy a bit of banter and celebrating the wins.

About the role:

Your role will be varied, where you will use your technical knowledge and experience within your role servicing and installing equipment. You will be working with your team and working independently.

  • You will work with a talented team and independently within Christchurch
  • Each day you will be working in a range of different settings, including large corporations and industries.
  • You will be working closely with clients, key accounts manager and your team. You will have the opportunity to also develop customer relationships and become an expert in this specialist in the products.
  • Your function will be to undertake preventative and reactive maintenance, quality assurance, installation, and commissioning of a range of products and third-party products supplied and supported by the company
  • You will be required to work on call- once every 4-5 weeks. With this you will be paid a very generous fee for every call out you do + paid hours worked.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Communicate with clients to understand the needs, address concerns, and provide technical advice and solutions.
  • Keep up to date with technical data releases on equipment
  • Communicate with the wider team, including on installation costs and time frames
  • Installing and servicing equipment

About you:

  • Will have a minimum Electrical qualification or an Electrical Service Technician a plus
  • Previous experience working with commercial kitchen ware is desired
  • Enjoy working in a team and develop strong relationships with your clients
  • Be physically fit
  • Great communications skills to liaise with internal team, and external customers and suppliers
  • Undergo a police criminal check
  • Full and clean driver's license
  • Excellent computer skills
