School hols off + shift work

Our client

• Our client is set in a leafy suburb just out of the city, is a short walk from a Train station, has free onsite parking, and can offer you stable hours Monday to Friday (40 paid hours/week), NOTE school term time only
• Two Kitchen Assistants are sought

Duties

• You will enjoy carrying out your set up, cleaning, meal preparation and equipment operation
• Cleaning the dishes, rubbish disposal, keeping surfaces clean, help put away deliveries
• Food service ie assist Chefs with food prep for morning/afternoon teas, dinner and any special meal requests
• Other varied restocking duties within your shift allocation
• Dining Room /onsite Cafeteria type environment seating 100+

Hours

• It is a split shift roster, where you will be required to be a bit flexible, but will usually be on the below shifts:

Morning shift 6am - 2:30pm
Afternoon shift 11am - 7:30pm (Except Fridays: 10:30am - 7pm)

• 40 hours total per week and they rotate
• The rate is approx $26.00 /hour with holiday pay on top
• The roles are School term time only (so you will have school holidays off and are free to do other work in that time if you wish)
• Also, there is the option for some weekend work or term break work for additional money.

You

• You may have been working in hospitality or have catering/kitchen and food preparation experience, and would now like the security of a permanent role with part time hours that allows you to be home each weekend and all of the school holidays!
