Responsibilities:
- General office admin tasks
- Answering phones and acting as the first point of contact for customers and suppliers
- Managing confirmed jobs and quotes inboxes and directing them to the correct team members
- Logging all confirmed jobs and quotes into the company database
- Weekly wages administration
- Health & safety administration, employee inductions, and maintaining training records
- Xero accounting duties including supplier invoices, customer invoices, and account reconciliations
- Providing administrative support to the General Manager and wider team
- Maintaining accurate staff and compliance records
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and excellent computer skills
- Proven experience with Xero
- Self-motivated, organised, and confident
- Strong multitasking and time management skills
- Comfortable working in a trade/manufacturing environment
- Reliable team player with a positive attitude
- Must be available to travel to Auckland for 2–3 weeks for training
