The role

Join a prestigious CA office team and help fulfil a variety of bookkeeping and accounts functions within their very long established and dynamic Accounting Practice

The role will be in the office for 2 days initially, possibly moving to a hybrid mix once trained, then our client will be looking at you working 2 full days, but flexible with which days.

TASKS:

• Report to the firm's Accountant
• General accounts tasks
• Accounts payable processing & management
• General invoicing
• Tenant invoicing and queries
• Payroll data collection
• Trust account administration
• Trust reporting & reconciliations
• Xero maintenance and use

You

• Will preferably have a New Zealand tertiary Accounting qualification
• Past experience working as an Assistant Accountant
• Xero and intermediate to advanced Excel skills (tables)
• Be accustomed to working within a highly efficient and friendly team culture

NOTE

• This is a temp 'part time' role and also will not suit a University student trying to fit this role into their schedule until they graduate
• Testing via Talegent will be required as part of the screening process if shortlisted
