The role

Intro - Join a small office team and help fulfil a variety of auditing functions within this very established and specialist Accounting Practice; reporting to the Principal, this role is due to an added Audit workload

• Provide assistance on several new Audits
• Audit Planning includes: Preparing / updating the engagement letter for the client, sending them governance questionnaires, establishing deadlines re:
  • Work commencement
  • Receipt of draft financial statements
  • Work completion
  • Principal review
  • Audit report sign-off
  • AGM etc
• Clients range from Not for Profits to the Banking & Property sector
• Client assets vary from simple to more complex ie Tier level 2, $80m+ assets
• Using Audit Assistant, cloud based auditing software for this predominantly Audit based role
• Using MYOB Accountants Office, for some accounting and income tax compilation for a range of individuals, companies and partnerships is also involved

You

• Will be a qualified Auditor in New Zealand
• Have NZ Audit experience
• Knowledge of IFRS Accounting Standards preferable
