The company:

• My client is renowned in their field, their experience is in servicing the needs of the pharmaceutical, medical, food, nutritional and personal care industries which has seen continued growth and expansion of their plant’s capabilities
• You will be based at their Glenfield based Manufacturing site joining the team in one of two roles available, ie as a Process Worker on their Afternoon shift (3pm to 11pm) which is one vacancy, or their Night shift (11pm to 7am) the other shift available

 
Duties:

• Packing plastic jars and caps into correct cartons and/or to the correct pallet and wrapping pallets
• Some Heavy lifting
• Checking labelling
• Keeping production records
• Quality checks and communication re any issues
• Varied machine operating tasks eg grinding rejects and scrap
• Changing wadding material
• Health & Safety/housekeeping as part of a friendly team in a very clean Production/Stores environment

• $30.45/hr equivalent for Afternoon shift Process Worker
• $30.82/hr equivalent for Night shift Process Worker
• NOTE The starting base rate is $28.95/hour (the Living Wage) PLUS a shift allowance – each shift worked ie approximately an extra $12/afternoon shift and $15/Night shift which in effect adds another $1.50 ($1.87 if nightshift) to your hourly rate
• FIVE WEEKS paid annual leave!
• You will enjoy shift hours in a lovely friendly team environment, overtime is not required
• There is normally a Christmas close of approximately three weeks
• This suits someone who is moderately fit (as you are on your feet, and there is some lifting, using a trolley/up to 25 kgs)
