The role

• Join a prestigious firm and generate revenue by conducting assurance and audit activities in an accurate, timely manner following set processes and procedures
• Some supervision/coaching of junior staff at times within their very long established and dynamic Accounting Practice

HOURS: Fulltime, a hybrid mix available after a settling in period

TASKS:

• Report to the Assistant Managers/Managers, Associates & Directors
• Conduct full statutory audits for companies in compliance with the Companies Act
• Conduct reviews in accordance with the Institute of Chartered Accountants
• Conduct due diligence engagement on behalf of a purchaser or vendor of a business
• Conduct limited audit of agreed financial information, procedures and processes
• Conduct audits for special purposes, in accordance with agreements or particular legislation for example: royalty audits, cost claims, etc
• Allocation of work amongst team
• Coaching and training support to team members etc
• Use of Xero

You

• Accounting/Business Degree (NZICA requirements met)
• Full CA membership or equivalent
• 3-5 years work experience within an audit/assurance CA environment, here, OR overseas if from 'the big four' CA firms
• Desire to working within a highly efficient, client driven and friendly, stable team culture where all are highly valued professionals (many with long service) where learning and development matters
