About the Role: As a Cancer Support Nurse Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of providing invaluable support and care to those affected by cancer. From offering evidence-based information to coordinating nursing support through community visits, you'll play a pivotal role in empowering patients and their supporters every step of the way.

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs
  • Provide timely support and information through various communication channels
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation with precision and care
  • Build positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Play a part in promoting supportive care services and contribute to service enhancement

What You'll Bring:

  • A Registered Nurse with a zest for making a difference
  • Two years of clinical experience, preferably in oncology/haematology and community nursing
  • A current Nursing Council of New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate
  • A Full New Zealand Driver Licence
