Customer/Administrator (East Tamaki)

Our client

  • Our client is a very successful business established almost a 100 years
  • A family business operating in East Tamaki and the South Island with close links to the US
  • A large East Tamaki Showroom stocks a wide range of industrial supplies and equipment

Role overview

In the newly relocated role of Customer Advocate you will be responsible for a wide variety of functions that all support their customer base. Based in the Administration Department, you will report to the Branch Manager and also support the Service team

  • Administration tasks including updating customer information, maintenance schedule, installation paperwork, purchase orders, invoices and use of inventory system/Excel
  • Assist Technicians to schedule work orders
  • Manage shipping/liaise with freight companies (eg DHL portal set up for purchasing US imports, FedEx couriers)
  • Inventory/stock level maintenance
  • Create customer quotes
  • Warranty claims & returns
  • Reconcile credit card receipts
  • Checking invoices/statements
  • Liaise with other Branch
  • Occasional back up counter sales in Showroom as part of a true team
  • Health & Safety admin

You

  • You will have great prioritisation skills, able to work quickly and effectively, juggling multiple tasks and demands
  • Be adaptable, flexible and enjoy using systems (Pronto is used, & MS Office, basic Excel formulas set up)
  • Enjoy clearly communicating with a wide range of people (eg be on phone to book Technicians in to service equipment/machines)
  • Will also be reliable with a great work ethic
  • Once learnt, you will find all will be very smooth, well run!
