About the role:

My client is on the lookout for a great Quality Controller for their export produce. They are a well-established produce organisation who grow, pick and distribute local produce around NZ and internationally!

Some responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring product is meeting current standards
• Inspection and quality assessment of product upon arrival
• Ensuring orders ready for export are accurate
• Controlling stock levels and managing rotations
• Ensuring compliance of suppliers are maintained to a high standard
• Liaising with clients and customers on food safety
• Working collaboratively with the team on continuous improvements

To be successful in this role:

Are you someone who has been working in a quality controller role and are looking for a step up in your career, or if you are looking to join a great organisation that you add value to then this is the role for you! We are looking for someone who:

• Have 3-5 years as a QC or export inspector.
• Able to manage conflict and make decisions.
• Have great verbal and written communication skills.
• Ideally have knowledge of compliance requirements and exports.
• Ideally have worked in a produce or food environement.
• Understanding of MPI requirements
