Job description

  • Fixed term contract till February
  • Kapiti location
  • 24 hours per week

We are looking for a highly efficient and organised Administration professional to support an engaged Governance team.

You will be responsible for organising events, minute taking and keeping the team on track to meet deliverables.

The Governance team are well drilled so will be well placed to assist you along the way.

Key duties:

  • Managing emails and calendars
  • Action points for meetings
  • Booking and organising conferences and events
  • Ensuring that a highly professional approach is taken to relationship management at all times

About you:

  • Understand the impacts of colonisation, historical and intergenerational trauma when working with Tangata Whenua; and the importance of cultural safety
  • Embeds Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles into workplace practices
  • Use an equity lens over all work to ensure it contributes to improved health outcomes for Māori, Pacific and other priority populations.
  • Actively seek out opportunities to empower whānau to draw on existing capabilities and strengths to resolve their health and wellbeing issues, with coordinated support from a range of providers.

This role is covering parental leave and will start mid July and go through till mid February 2025. There will be a two week handover so you will be well prepared to run the show from then. You must be available to start mid July to be considered for this position.
