About the Company

My client is a large National Vehicle Dealer, who sell and Service Heavy Vehicles across New Zealand. This role is working at their Yard in Wiri. They are a down to earth and fun team who love a bit of lighthearted banter and don't micro-manage. They are strong believers in investing in their staff and promoting internally and hard work is recognized and rewarded.

The company puts an emphasis on developing their staff and promoting internally. For the right candidate, they will put you through your class 2 and 4 licenses, or you can move into other areas of the business, such as the parts department.



About the role:

We are on the hunt for a motivated and reliable candidate who loves to work independently and take ownership of their role! You would be performing maintenance and upkeep on the yard, so you would be out by yourself for most of the day. Pop your head in to say good morning, then be out there doing your thing for the rest of the day! It would be your responsibility to keep the yard looking presentable, this is a varied role with a lot of scope for growth.



Daily you can expect to:

• Pull out weeds around the yard.
• Pick up litter around the yard.
• Wash trucks.
• Move vehicles around the yard.
• Water blast concrete.

About you:

We are looking for someone who is happy to do a physical role with a lot of walking, has strong initiative and loves to work without supervision!

• Must have a full license.
• Must be able to pass a random drug test.
• A good attitude and work ethic is essential for this opportunity!
• Strong initiative and self-motivated.
• Physically fit and happy to work on your feet.
• No experience needed.
