Job description
Master Data - 3 month contract
Permanent possible! + Operations/Freight
Intro:
- The primary role is to maintain our clients master data application and SAP (and the solutions and tables that support
these applications)
- To pull, interpret, provide data analytics support and MS
Excel/spreadsheet expertise
- To produce daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly client reports using the data purged
- Independent role as Rates & Systems Analyst, reporting through to Financial Processes Manager
Duties include:
- Maintain and validate master data in systems
- Adhere to current master data conventions
- Create templates and assign EDI references in system
- Establish Vendors as necessary
- Create Profiles into System
- Validate addresses for Shipper and Consignee
- Setup contracts
- Maintain other modules
- Enter/update Rates and Costs
- Investigate zero charges
- Carry out rates and cost analysis
- Customer reporting also for Customers
- Transport and Warehouse systems
- Manage FIN customer account details
- Review and update daily master data reports/Google Sheet
- Escalation contact for master data queries
- Health & Safety etc
You:
- Master Data experience (3 years)
- Accurate data analysis, managing large volumes of data
- Interest in logistics/operations/freight
- An excellent communicator
- Business or Info Systems qualification likely
