Our client is seeking reliable and experienced Yardman to join their busy trade store. 
This is a hands-on, physical, and product-driven role, ideal for someone with a strong understanding of building materials and prior experience in a trade yard environment.

You will be responsible for:

• Picking, packing, and loading orders accurately
• Operating forklifts (timber packs, hardware, and general stock)
• Unloading and receipting incoming stock
• Maintaining a tidy, safe, and well-organised yard
• Assisting drivers with loading and dispatch
• Checking orders prior to dispatch for accuracy
• Identifying products quickly and accurately
• Advising trade customers on correct products
• Reporting stock issues or shortages

Requirements:

• Trade or building supply background (essential)
• Current forklift licence or strong forklift experience
• Understanding of building materials and measurements
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Calm, professional, and confident working with builders and trade clients
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Legal working rights in New Zealand
