THE OPPORTUNITY
  • Are you a dedicated Orthoptist looking for an international opportunity to advance your career?
  • One or two talented Orthoptists are sought to join our clients team in Auckland, New Zealand
  • In this role, you will perform comprehensive orthoptic assessments and support Doctors in managing a variety of eye movement and binocular vision disorders

YOU
  • Will be a qualified Orthoptist with relevant registration or certification
  • Have a Bachelor of Science in Orthoptics (BSc or BMed Sci) or Diploma from the British Orthoptic Council
  • Proven experience in all aspects of clinical orthoptics, including assessments and treatments, pediatric and neuro-ophthalmic cases etc
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized, methodical, and self-motivated with the ability to manage a busy clinic environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and support patient care with professionalism and empathy
NICE TO HAVE
  • Experience in clinical research and audits
  • Post-graduate experience or specialized training in orthoptics
  • Knowledge of advanced orthoptic treatment techniques and technologies
OFFER
  • Relocation support:(flight, one month’s accommodation, and immigration support ie Advisor etc)
  • Ability to obtain an Accredited Employer Work Visa (a Green List role, facilitating smooth visa processing)
  • Monday to Friday fulltime role ie 40 hours/week
  • Permanent opportunity BUT 12 month Fixed Term also possible
