Job description

The role

  • We are looking for an experienced EA who can provide effective temporary administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the General Manager's office in the social services and health sector
  • This role is available immediately

Key tasks

  • Executive support including calendar management, prioritising inquiries, troubleshooting etc
  • Prepare/co-ordinate meetings, functions & catering
  • Coordinate minutes at meetings and assist in tracking actions arising, liaising with stakeholders as required, attend meetings in GM's absence
  • Book travel and accommodation
  • Event management - venues, travel, catering, logistics etc
  • Correspondence, collation of documents
  • Project management - taking lead on strategic initiatives, liaising with Project team
  • Monthly reporting and general assistance with regards to social services administration and staff etc

You

  • Will be empathetic, a great communicator with a structured approach geared to achieving results
  • Have 5 years experience as a PA or EA supporting senior management
  • Be interested in process improvement, have experience with MS suite at a high level and have a natural ability to excel under pressure
  • A genuine interest in working for one of NZ's leading not for profit organisation
  • An awareness and understanding of Maori values and protocols
