Job description
We’re recruiting on behalf of an industry training organisation that supports workforce development across essential New Zealand industries. They’re looking for a capable Learning Operations Coordinator to support their training team and keep day-to-day learning operations running smoothly.
This is a varied, hands-on coordination role where organisation, accuracy, and people skills really matter. You’ll be supporting learners, trainers, and assessors, making sure systems are up to date and training delivery stays on track.

What you’ll be doing
- Coordinating learner enrolments, assessments, and results through a training management system
- Maintaining accurate learner and compliance records
- Supporting trainers and assessors with course materials and resources
- Scheduling training, travel, and delivery logistics
- Reconciling certificates and competencies and following up where needed
- Producing reports and tracking training progress
- Providing professional, friendly support to learners, employers, and partners
- Assisting with quality processes and document updates
- 2 to 3 years’ experience in administration, coordination, or training support
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and confidence working with data and systems
- Excellent attention to detail and time management
- Clear communicator with a customer-focused approach
- Exposure to training, education, or NZQA environments is a bonus
- Full-time fixed term role (9 to 12 months)
