Job description

  • General Accounts Assistant supporting Finance team
  • 8.30am to 5pm, 40hrs/week, start Tuesday 10.02.2026 till end May

ROLE
  • Our client is looking for an allrounder with accounts receivable, accounts payable and general administration experience
  • Reporting to the Financial Controller you will assist a few different people in Finance so the scope will be quite broad
  • Focusing solely on accounting tasks until March, then 20 hours/week asssisting Claims (training provided), and 20 hours supporting the Finance team
 
YOU
  • You will need to have previous allround accounts administration experience
  • AR and AP experience + month end knowledge.
  • 5 years’ work experience in an accounting type function
  • Good working knowledge of accounting/ ERP systems.
  • Use of MS Word, Excel & MYOB
  • A lovely bright and friendly small Head Office team, someone equally as vibrant will fit in well!
TRAINING
  • Four day handover in the first week, then ongoing support as required.
  • Also an interesting opportunity to later learn about Claims
OFFER
  • Negotiable rate between $34.50 - $36.72/hour (incl hol pay) + KiwiSaver
  • Assignment is four months (ie until end of May)
