We’re looking for a highly experienced excavator operator to run a 140T machine on long-term earthworks projects based in Wainui. This is a key role on site, suited to someone confident on large gear, focused on production, and serious about safety.

You’ll be operating on established civil and bulk earthworks projects with steady forward work. We need someone who can step in, take ownership of their machine, work efficiently, and contribute to keeping targets on track. This isn’t babysitting — it’s for an operator who knows their gear and takes pride in doing the job properly.

• $35–$40 per hour depending on experience and capability

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience operating large excavators (100T+ preferred)
• Strong earthworks or civil construction background
• Good understanding of production targets and site efficiency
• Strong health and safety awareness
• Reliable, accountable and team focused
• Based North Shore or north of the bridge preferred
