Product Assessor

Reporting to the Quality Team Lead , our client is seeking a Product Assessor to join them in Mount Maunganui . This position will be focused on promoting industry development of quality systems through the development and implementation of audit plans with facilities, based on risk assessments. The role ensures compliance with quality systems encompassing product, container, direct delivery, pre-pack, and food safety standards.

This is a seasonal fixed-term position from July 2024 to the end of November 2024.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct audits of facilities daily according to established procedures.
• Maintain accurate and thorough audit records for each facility within specified timelines.
• Assist in addressing quality issues identified through outturn reports or customer complaints.
• Support additional projects beyond routine audit plans as needed.

Candidate Requirements:

• Energetic individual with strong teamwork skills.
• Background in agriculture/packhouse
• Knowledge of common kiwifruit and quality standards is preferred.
• Fluent in English.
• Possession of a NZ driver's license.
• Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) with good numeracy and analytical abilities.
