This role is suited to someone who has moved beyond pure site supervision and enjoys owning projects end to end. You’ll be trusted to scope work, prepare estimates, coordinate delivery, and stay close to site activity to make sure everything runs as it should.

It’s a permanent position within a well established mechanical and piping business, working on local Tauranga projects with a steady pipeline of work and a practical, no nonsense team around you.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing mechanical and piping projects from estimate through to completion
• Preparing estimates, scopes, and work programmes
• Coordinating site crews, subcontractors, and materials
• Overseeing day to day site operations when required
• Monitoring progress, quality, and health and safety compliance
• Liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
• Resolving site and programme issues as they arise

What they’re looking for

• Strong background in mechanical, piping, or industrial engineering
• Proven experience as a Project Supervisor or Project Manager
• Confident producing estimates and reviewing project costs
• Strong understanding of drawings, specifications, and site delivery
• Organised, commercially aware, and comfortable making decisions
• Safety focused with a practical, solutions driven mindset
