The company
My client is renowned in their field, their experience is in servicing the needs of the pharmaceutical, medical, food, nutritional and personal care industries which has seen continued growth and expansion of their plant's capabilities.
Role overview
- You will be reporting to the Quality Manager as a QCSE Assistant (Quality Control, Sustainability & Environmental Assistant), working in a finished goods warehouse and production environment with a variety of tasks to ensure compliance in various accreditation requirements
- Assisting the Quality and Sustainability Managers in a variety of tasks to ensure compliance with the various accreditation requirements.
Hours
- The role is a part time role initially of approximately 20-25 hours per week
- Ideally 9am - 1 or 2pm Monday to Friday BUT can be flexible for the right candidate.
Duties
- Health & Safety (full compliance)
- Supplier management (close off supplier NCR's, conduct supplier Audits & Questionnaires, monitoring performance, CoC's received)
- Sustainability (understand Environmental responsibilities, participate in the Environmental Committee - minutes of, waste reporting, assist with carbon emission, update internal documents etc)
- Quality checks (via visible appearance and comparison that product is packed to acceptable standards ie in cartons/pallets)
- Internal auditing (conduct, develop and reporting of)
- Communication (of issues etc)
- Computer (Storage of information in Folders, use of MS Outlook, Q-Pulse quality management systems & Aspect workforce management software)
You
- Previous experience working in a Sustainability, Health & Safety, or Supplier Management role
- Strong understanding of environmental and sustainability issues
- Very good computer literacy and attention to detail
- Excellent English language skills
- Confident communicator ie to raise any product concerns with the Supervisor/Quality Manager
- NZ RESIDENT or CITIZEN as this is a permanent role
