The role
Intro
  • One of our clients full time warehouse employees has resigned and they now need a Temp to provide cover, commencing Tuesday 3rd June after Kings Birthday, for an ongoing period at this stage.
  • They also need an additional Temp for a busy period and to cover some planned holidays from 9th July until the end of September!
Duties
  • An international company headquartered in the US, my client is an importer and distributer of a range of products that service the needs of those using outdoor equipment
  • You will be fulfilling the orders needed by their of their dealer network which ranges from large well known retail stores to specialist stores that all stock their range of products
  • Picking product
  • Packing product
  • Un/loading shipments
  • Manual handling and use of Pallet Jacks (no Forklift use)
  • Verifying weights/amounts, inspecting for any damage
  • Calculations and preparing standard reports
  • General Dispatch duties
 
You
  • Warehouse work experience – inwards and dispatch, safety boots worn
  • Basic reading, writing, math and computer skills
  • Able to lift moderate weights eg 11-27 kgs+
  • Comfortable moving about on your feet through a shift 
On offer
  • $26.47/hour (ie base $24.51/hour + 8% holiday pay)
  • Stable work Monday to Friday, ongoing for now
