Our client:

  • A global company, with products and solutions essential within the healthcare sector, the products used in NZ provide quality care to patients who have mobility issues.

Overview:

  • Join a team of Service Technicians (working alongside a Project/Product Installer) and you will be trained to do servicing (inspection, test and tag) of the companies electro-mechanical equipment as their product has to be checked annually ( a series of tests)
  • One role will be a mix of onsite at the client (DHB's) and at the company in Mt Wellington as they are required to completed inspections and tests on two of their products and this needs some extra temp Technician support to handle the work volume, the other role will be based in the Mount Wellington Workshop where servicing requires greater skills
  • One role is for someone with experience working on the tools, who has worked as a Technician and may be a qualified Service Technician (Electrical)… someone with a Electrical Appliance qualification to perform inspections and tests on small electronic pumps using a company SOP and reporting format
  • The other role is for a Trainee, you will have a passion for maintenance work and be following the Service Technician assisting and learning as you go - Someone with practical knowledge of and a willingness to learn how to perform inspections and tests on small electrical items on site or within a workshop environment
  • In both cases you would be supervised by a Company Technician and detailed work instructions

You:

  • May have an Electrical Service Technician qualification, or desire to achieve
  • Diagnosis abilities - faults/technical issues
  • Will have experience working on the tools as a Technician
  • Computer skills
  • Be physically fit
  • Great communications skills to liaise with internal team, and external customers and suppliers
  • Be interested in getting experience into the job security of the medical sector

Note - Our client requires Drug & Alcohol screening and a Police check will be conducted
