The Job
Reporting to the board, you will assume the overall responsibility for the leadership and strategic management of this successful engineering business. We require this person to be based at the Tauranga head office to lead the team.
You'll be:
A competent senior Structural Engineer with a sound knowledge of the NZ Building Code. You will assist the senior engineers, team leaders and wider design teams to deliver high-quality professional consulting engineering services.
Be a proven in your ability to deliver projects to the highest standard and has coached engineers to do the same.
Champion the development of the business and people holding the values, mission, vision and goals at the forefront.
Be able to demonstrate operational, strategic and financial leadership of a business.
Respected in the industry; maintaining valuable client relationships and promote the business with current and new opportunities.
The Ideal Person
You must hold a BE, CPEng or CMEngNZ qualification or registration, with a strong structural and seismic experience.
Leadership experience at project delivery or business management level
Be based in Tauranga, or happy to relocate.
