As a leading solution provider within the Commercial HVAC space, we are looking to hire a Sales Engineer to join our team.
Key Areas
- Support sales growth and drive specifications of Chillers, Terminal units, Air Handling Units, Heating, Plant room controls and Daikinproducts through consulting engineers, mechanical contractors and end users by marketing, specification, selection, and sales.
- Understand and promote a total solution sales concept.
- Seek new business opportunities by owning and converting customers sales requests.
- Market our products and services extensively as part of our overall marketing plan
- Take responsibility in tender submission, generation of quotes/proposals for commercial jobs and follow through with engineers, mechanical contractors, and owners with an aim of closing each potential sale opportunity.
- Present and promote our products, on technical advantages, to the contracting and other commercial clientele including mechanical contractors, consultants etc.
- Preferably a mechanical engineer or HVAC trade qualified, with relevant training completed on commercial products
- Minimum 5 years within HVAC and ideally 2 years within sales
- Hydronic system experience, VRF experience or an engineering qualification would be an advantage.
- High sense of urgency and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly motivated self-starter, able to work with minimal direction.
- Strong business, technical and problem-solving skills desired.
- Proficient with a PC and Microsoft Office and design applications software understanding.
