Job description
- Mon - Fri 6.30am - 2.30pm, starting immediately for Dec and Jan
- Provide IT support for the distribution centre; international beauty brand
- Otahuhu location, easily accessible and parking onsite
In this role you'll be responsible for all IT at the Otahuhu based Distribution Centre for a world leading beauty brand. This site is home to the warehouse, customer care team, master data and supply chain teams. Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager (who is based at a different office) you'll be the go-to for this site.
Your tasks will include:
- Assist with deployment and troubleshooting for all local network and desktop services.
- Troubleshooting printing environment for corporate and operations.
- Troubleshoot DC systems to ensure proper operations; may participate and/or lead small project initiatives.
- Cover escalation of any DC related issues L1-L3.
- Responsible for DC IT hardware (printers, label makers etc).
The DC is open Monday-Friday from 6.30am to 8pm, our preference is someone to cover the morning. There is some flexibility with start and finish times.
The ideal person will come from a complex system background with experience across technology platforms/services.
- You have 3+ years' experience within a similar role OR proven experience in IT space
- Working knowledge of Windows desktops, industrial devices
- Level 2 IT support
- Knowledge on storage concepts and LAN/WAN
- Strong analytical mind-set with demonstrated experience drawing insights and recommendations efficiently.
The ideal person will have good initiative and the ability to problem solve your way through tasks. It's a pretty down to earth environment with good people. To fit you'll be easy going with a fun personality.
