My client is looking for a superstar Imports Operator to quickly jump into a busy role. Work for a supportive, well-established Freight Forwarding organisation based in Riccarton.

The Role
Start ASAP! This Sea Imports Operator position is a varied role, with opportunity to establish yourself long term. You will be responsible for all inbound processing and management of import Sea orders. Some of the duties will include:

• Entering accurate information and details into Cargowise system
• Providing overseas agents and relevant parties up to date information on their shipments
• Assisting with all import processes from start to finish
• Providing quotes to customer or overseas parties that meet their requirements
• Arranging releases with shipping lines, airline agencies and deliveries from there
• Processing shipping invoices when required
• Providing support to your team and management when required

To be successful in this role
My client is looking for a candidate with Freight Forwarding sea and air freight experience for this position. If you have a great, can do, and willingness to lean attitude, then this could be the role for you! We are looking for candidate who have:

• 2 years' experience in Freight Forwarding
• Experience in Air and Sea Imports
• Has used and understands Cargowise system
• A positive, can do attitude
• Have great customer service and phone manner skills
• Be computer savvy
• Work well under pressure and is a team player
