This role will suit an Accountant who’s confident in their technical skills but also enjoys engaging with clients. You’ll be trusted to take ownership of your work, contribute to a wide variety of projects, and be actively involved in client discussions. The position offers a mix of compliance, advisory, and consulting responsibilities, giving you the chance to broaden your experience.

Day-to-day, you can expect to be involved in:
- Preparing annual accounts and tax returns
- Delivering management reports
- Preparing group consolidation accounts
- Producing cashflow reports
- Liaising with IRD
- Supporting clients with tax planning
To be successful, you’ll bring both technical expertise and a client-focused approach. Ideally, you will have:
- A CA qualification (or be well on your way to completing it)
- A solid understanding of New Zealand tax legislation
- Confidence in dealing directly with clients
- Practical accounting experience
