Boilermaker Service Technician!!!

Join a team delivering on-site commercial boilermaker services across Wellington!
We’re looking for an experienced Service Boilermaker for a permanent role, working on-site across commercial buildings, including offices, hospitals, schools, and other facilities. You’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing boilers, tanks, pressure vessels, and other large metal structures in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, assemble, and install boilers, tanks, and other steel structures on-site according to technical drawings
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot faults, and carry out repairs to ensure systems operate efficiently
• Use arc, MIG, and TIG welding techniques for on-site metal work
• Conduct inspections and testing to identify leaks, defects, and compliance issues
• Maintain accurate records, including service reports, checklists, and boiler logs
• Follow strict safety procedures and use appropriate PPE

Skills & Experience:

• Proven boilermaking experience with strong welding and fabrication skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hand and power tools
• Problem-solving skills to quickly diagnose and fix issues on-site
• Physical stamina and attention to detail in commercial environments
