About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has opened up for a driven and engaging Branch Manager to join this bustling Wellington office. You'll take charge of overseeing branch productivity and operations, including inventory management, cultivating customer relationships, driving business growth, and leading the team towards achieving B2B sales targets and KPIs.

In this pivotal role, you'll lead a diverse team and collaborate across departments to deliver exceptional service to valued customers. Your focus will be on optimising operations, fostering growth, and expanding market presence. With a solid track record in sales and adept people leadership within a B2B environment, you uphold integrity and are dedicated to developing your team's skills!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building and promoting a Health & Safety culture.
  • Generating sales through the development of existing customer relationships and proactive networking to seek new business.
  • Ensuring all staff receive the necessary training.
  • Managing the branch's physical space effectively, maintaining a high standard of presentation.
  • Ensuring the branch is effectively staffed and structured to meet customer needs and daily operational functions.
  • Developing and implementing vision, objectives, and strategies to achieve your branch's goals.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have at least 2+ years of proven experience in a B2B role driving a high-performance culture, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer outcomes. You're a people leader and possess sound financial acumen. An interest in the automotive industry is ideal!

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Business management qualification, ideally not less than a level 5 diploma.
  • History of delivering sales!
  • Full NZ driver's license and ability to drive a manual car (and/or a dangerous goods license).
  • People leadership experience, including coaching and performance management.
  • Computer literacy in CRM systems, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
