The Position
You will be responsible in a phone based role (not patient facing) for the scheduling of appointments in a team environment and general medical administration.
  • BOOKINGS ie registering new patients
  • Scheduling appointments with a range of Specialists and Nurses in each discipline after receipt of referral
  • Advising Patients of appointment times
  • Follow up on outstanding test results
  • Confirm and book in appointments scheduled into patient management system
  • Amend patient details if required, updating Accounts and Transcriptionists
  • Attend meetings, always applying Best Practice, accuracy and high standards
  • Health & Safety
You
  • Will preferably have a strong customer service background with an interest in the medical sector
  • Be technologically savvy to pick up their patient management system
  • A calm, warm and truly empathetic person who genuinely cares about providing a wrap-around service to the Specialists wide range of patients
  • Excellent English and confidential nature due to the very busy telephone contact with patients in a small contact centre like environment 
On offer
  • To $31 - $36.60/hour (dependent on experience)
