Job description

The Company
 
  • An international company headquartered in the US, my client is a leading manufacturer of a range of products that service the needs of those using outdoor equipment
  • An importer and distributor in NZ, reporting through to Australia, this company has just had a bumper year, with more to come!
  • You will be supporting the needs of their existing dealer network which ranges from large well known retail stores to specialist stores that stock their range of products
 
The Position
  • Resolve customer enquiries regarding company products and ensure on-time delivery of products
  • Troubleshoot to determine root cause of customer concern and provide support
  • Order management, review inventory availability and coordinate logistics
  • Enter customer contact details into Customer Relationship Management software (SAP is used, but any ERP experience will suffice as systems training will be provided)
  • Customer follow-up, communicating delivery dates and explaining backorders
  • Investigate and resolve inquiries related to order fulfilment, debits, credits and returns
  • Monitor open orders and scheduled shipment dates to expedite as needed to meet customer expectations
  • Develop great working relationships with both internal and external customers who are located nationwide – urban and rural sectors!
 
You
  • Will have customer service ‘product/delivery’ based experience (not from just the service sector or a Call Centre)
  • Will enjoy being part of a small vibrant and busy but relaxed team
  • Have a quality focus and excellent problem solving skills
  • An interest in the great outdoors would be helpful!
  • Systems savvy, great documentation, listening and phone skills, being able to resolve issues and multi-task
