We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Engineer to ensure the smooth and safe operation of all plant and equipment at our Seaview site in Wellington. This hands-on role is crucial in keeping our machinery, vehicles, and facilities in peak condition to support the day-to-day running of the business.

About the Role:

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain and repair machinery and plant equipment.
• Perform daily checks and log work using Site App Pro.
• Coordinate parts ordering and manage consumables.
• Support after-hours operations when needed.
• Provide backup machinery operation (e.g. forklift, excavator).
• Keep the workshop safe, tidy, and secure.
• Train staff on equipment use and maintenance.
• Follow all health & safety procedures and report hazards.

What You’ll Need:

• 3+ years’ experience in mechanical maintenance/repairs.
• Hydraulic and forklift maintenance experience.
• Full, clean driver’s licence.
• Relevant licences/certifications for equipment use.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Clear communicator with a strong safety focus.
• Clean criminal record.
