Our client
  • Our client is a private family business operating out of Europe and established 100 years
  • In Mt Wellington, there is an inclusive culture, a flat structure reporting to a fantastic Manager, a team of six - work alongside a Customer Services person.
  • A small warehouse is onsite with products manufactured offshore, as there are three categories of product sourced that provide specific manufacturing solutions to NZ clients (in Food, Construction etc)
 
Duties
Sales Support & Administration:
  • Provide administrative and sales support to the external sales team.
  • Handle inbound phone calls, emails, and customer queries.
  • Create and maintain customer and product information in systems.
  • Prepare quotes, process orders, manage returns, and handle price checks.
  • Maintain accurate records in Infor CRM.
  • Assist with counter and cash sales, including online payments.
  • Generate monthly reports for select clients.
Purchasing & General Admin:
  • Raise and send purchase orders to suppliers and Sydney branch.
  • Support general office tasks including filing, invoicing, and order tracking.
  • Ensure all documentation is complete and up-to-date.
Warehouse Support:
  • Update inventory changes in ERP system (Infor LN).
  • Follow up on missing or late deliveries.

You
  • You will truly be a positive and proactive person, used to seeking solutions where the end result for the customer is the focus
  • Product based customer service experience servicing the manufacturing sector or similar with some warehouse stock is required (so product NOT just ‘service/intangible’ experience)
  • You will enjoy extensive regular contact with predominantly existing customers…managing expectations at times too (re delivery of product when sourced offshore – thus any import/export exposure a plus
  • Be adaptable, flexible and enjoy using systems (ERP integrated database systems, MS Office)
 
Offer
  • An excellent salary/incentive package also applies ie $65,000 plus eligibility for an annual Bonus of up to 10%
