We’re on the lookout for skilled and motivated Accountants who are looking to develop their career and grow within an established company. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning the numbers, thrives on detail, and wants to contribute to the bigger financial picture of a growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and internal policies
• Manage general ledger accounting and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare and file GST, FBT, and income tax returns in line with New Zealand regulations
• Assist with year-end processes and liaise with external auditors
• Provide financial insights through variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
• Maintain and improve internal controls, systems, and processes
• Support other finance initiatives and ad-hoc reporting as needed

Key Requirements: 

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CA or CPA qualified
• Experience in a financial accounting role (public practice or commercial environment)
• Solid knowledge of NZ tax compliance and financial reporting standards
• High level of proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g. Xero, MYOB, or an ERP system)
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
