My client is a Sheetmetal and Powder Coating company that has been going from strength to strength over the last few years and continues to grow. About the role
We’re on the hunt for a Experienced Sheetmetal Fabricator to join a large and friendly team in their North Shore location. The work involves light fabrication, largely related to roofing products and custom flashings, but covers a wide variety of different custom peices, keeping each day interesting and different. You’ll be working from plans, cutting, shaping, welding, and using hand tools to fully fabricate products. Ideally we would like someone who is able to do quotes and manange small projects alone.
Hours are 6.30am – 3.30pm or 7.30am – 4.30pm to skip the traffic!
About you A Sheetmetal Fabrication trade qualification is preferred, but we’re open to candidates with sufficient experience in light fabrication. To be successful, you must have:

About you A Sheetmetal Fabrication trade qualification is preferred, but we’re open to candidates with sufficient experience in light fabrication. To be successful, you must have:
- Strong TIG welding experience (aluminium & stainless steel essential)
- Ability to operate a press brake (ideally CNC)
- 5+ years’ relevant experience or a trade qualification
- Ability to work well independently and in a team
- Ideally able to run small jobs on your own (quote to installtion)
- Ability to pass a drug test
