We’re on the lookout for an experienced Sheet Metal Roofer to join a respected roofing and construction team in Wellington. If you’ve got a sharp eye for detail, pride in your workmanship, and solid experience working with metal roofing systems – we want to hear from you! 

About the Role: 
You’ll be responsible for installing and maintaining high-quality sheet metal roofs that not only protect buildings from the elements but also deliver clean, architectural finishes. From underlayment to flashing and guttering, your work will ensure every roof is watertight, durable, and built to last. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Install underlayment materials (felt, membranes, synthetic sheets) 

• Cut, shape, and install corrugated and flat metal sheets (steel, copper, aluminum) 

• Fit flashings around roof penetrations and intersections 

• Install gutters and downspouts for effective water management 

• Conduct regular maintenance and inspections 

• Follow all safety and manufacturer installation requirements 

What You’ll Bring: 

• Proven experience in sheet metal roofing 

• Skilled with hand and power tools 

• Understanding of fastener compatibility and metal roof expansion 

• Ability to read and work from plans and drawings 

• Strong focus on quality, safety, and teamwork
