About the Role - Team Leader Position:

Are you passionate about leading and making a difference in the Home Healthcare service sector? As a Team Leader, you will be a pivotal figure in ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that cater to the individual needs of clients. Reporting to the Regional Service Manager, your responsibilities will encompass developing responsive coordination support services, managing efficient care placement processes, and strategically planning recruitment efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop responsive coordination support services.
  2. Manage efficient and effective care placement processes.
  3. Plan strategically for recruitment and scheduling of Support Workers.
  4. Provide leadership, coaching, and coordination for the team.
  5. Undertake administration tasks associated with the role.
  6. Demonstrate a commitment to health and safety, organizational mission, and Christian ethos.
  7. Participate in ongoing education and professional development.

Requirements:

  • Current Driver's license.
  • High IT literacy in MS Office and Client Management Systems.
  • Understanding of Health & Safety and Employment legislation.
  • Knowledge of the local area.
  • Excellent interpersonal, team building, and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • Practical knowledge of supply versus demand in Human Services.
  • Understanding of the social model of service delivery.
  • Familiarity with Home & Community Support Sector Standards.
  • Knowledge of the Health and Disability Consumer Code of Rights.
